SIDE B

With Dev Kohli’s lyrics and Dilip Sen and Sameer Sen’s foot-tapping tune, this song was a chartbuster even before Mehul Kumar thought of making the movie.

The magic of first love has never been captured so lyrically as in this one:

‘Pagal huwa huwa huwa,
Deewana huwa huwa huwa
O jane mujhe yeh kya huwa’

To which the gyrating Tabu replies:

‘O ladka tu ek patakha,
Ladki main ek dhamaka’

One minute silence for these lines please. Nana ko pataka bola. This deserves a bit of misty-eyed applause fellas! *clap clap clap*

14Nana puts ze swag on and how! Just look at that awesomeness oozing from every inch of that image:

15

Cool shades. Check.
Cool jacket. Check.
Cool track pants. Check.
Yo shoes. Check.
Cool ponytail. Check.
Monkey cap. Check.

16Tum log hass rahe ho? Sharam karo! Love knows no boundaries, remember??? Love is indeed quite blind, as this song teaches us. Now go home and write that 400 times. Silly peepuls!

The choreography is of course mind-blowing with Nana pulling off some incredibly cool moves in clothes that were later borrowed by Sonu Nigam in Jaani Dushman (click here to know how that turned out!)

There’s a yellow tractor thingum that goes around the dancing lovers randomly in between, what had just calmly been parked in the background just a second before. Randomly, did I say? Na, Na. What I meant was that it is a metaphorical depiction of the overwhelming happiness in their hearts that makes them run in circles deliriously. Beautiful imagery, hain ni?

Cut to next scene. Our dude walks in with a swagger in a long coat and hat, presumably after stepping out of the helicopter that can be seen in the background.

17

What charm. What swagger. Dekho toh!

18

Tabu and Nana then have a jacket flipping competition, and of course with that lean, mean bod, Nana wins!

And then Nana walks in in dungarees. Silence. Epicness alert.

19

After declaring their love almost everywhere possible: in a car, on an empty road, on a foggy hill, on a river bank, near a bonfire, over logs of wood, on a rocky mountain, grassy slopes, lady (Tabu, mind you) tells NANA: ‘Main sach keh rahi hun Ajit. Tum mujhe bahut achhe lagte ho. Hmm’.

Featuring:
Nana the Studboy Round 2
Helicopter on Loan from Yashraj
Amisha Patel from the future (Kaho Na Pyaar Hai…) as Tabu
10 Easy Hair-Dos for Boys with Medium-Length Hair
How to Pull Off Monkey Caps like a Boss (Vol. 2)

P.S. And as Nana taught us in Krantiveer, love knows no age. Or looks. Or fashion sense. Or any sense. So:

let us digest all that crap,
and together do the love rap

  1. 1. He is pelvic thrusting away to glory!
    2. That is not a monkey cap! I am bong, I was trained to detect the presence of a monkey cap from within a radius of a 100 meters.
    3. Do that Nagin walla movie that had Sonu Nigam & Maneesha Koirala.
    4. Bindu looked like a veritable nympho.

    • Hahaha! True that! Alright, alright! Not a monkey cap! I give you that! Just sounds more fun that way!

I did do the Nagin vala movie! Remember ‘Javed Bhai So Re Le’? 😀

Also, about Bindu! Very true! Gave me the creeps!
